02/11/2007: "Mix CD 1"

Well I got bored tonight, so I decided to upload a short mix of some music I am currently into. Lately I've been digging Wold. They're this black metal/ambient/noise outfit that blends these genres together in a way that really works. Imagine if William Basinski made a dark, hellish loop and played it behind Leviathan, recorded it on a 4-track and then left the tape out in the sun to become just a bit more distorted. That's kinda what Wold sounds like. A few of their tracks have a very 'power electronics'esque feel to them as well; it's interesting. There's a couple songs on the mix, check it out if you feel like it.
